GW4 Something for the Weekend?
How was GW3 for you? My GW captain and differential failed however those that followed my recommendations on Redmond, Gomis and Manchester United as a clean sheet banker will be sitting happy.
Sergio Aguero – failed to hit the target last week however the Argentine doesn’t usually fail in consecutive GW’s.
Pedro – owned by 7.8% of teams, if his first game is anything to go by then perhaps this is where the value is.
Form Player to have for next 3
Aleksandar Kolorav – with home games against Watford and West Ham and a visit to Crystal Palace, Kolarov is my pick for the next 3 where he may add to his already impressive 7, 9, and 15 GW points.
Under the Radar for next 3
Xherdan Shaqiri – impressed with his debut last week, scoring 7 points, and with home games against West Brom and Leicester in the next 3, the former Inter midfielder could score well even with a tricky visit to Arsenal.
Good Value for your Money
Callum Wilson – 10.7% of us now own the Cherries main man. Priced at £5.5m, he starts every week and has proved his mark by scoring the Premier League’s first hat-trick of the season. You’ll be hard pushed to find a better value 3rd choice forward (2nd choice forward in my team).
One to watch
Bamidele Alli – scored within 17 minutes of his Premier League debut last week, question is how long until last season’s Football League Young Footballer of the Year gets a regular start? One to put on your watchlist.
Clean Sheet Banker
Manchester City – I stopped looking when I saw their fixture was home to Watford.
Was going to say Luke however he left Shaw as 3rd sub with a home game vs Newcastle, so if I’m allowed to put myself forward then I will. Scoring 65 points (69 before the hit) due mainly to Wilson’s hatrick and some incredible luck in Monday’s match, I moved up 1.2 million places to 600k.
Mesh – dropped further down the rankings to 2 million. Perhaps this was the GW that he should’ve played his bench chip, leaving out Defoe, Cedric and Francis cost him 20 points and saved Tom’s blushes for leaving Wilson on the bench (ouch).
Good luck this GW!
