GW3 Something for the Weekend?
OK, I’m back from my hols and now ready for the new season albeit a couple of weeks late, hence my 1.9m poor start!
I thought I’d write a new regular feature sharing my thoughts for the upcoming GW whilst perhaps highlighting certain players that may give us the edge on our rivals in our mini-leagues.
Sergio Aguero – looked sharp as you like last week.
Dimitri Payet – even though he’s got 8.3% ownership, few will captain him making him an interesting differential, especially at home to Bournemouth who’ve yet to score a goal. Also consider 3% owned Nathan Redmond. 2 goals in 2 starts for this blinkered attacking midfielder, who’s to say he won’t carry this form into a home fixture with Stoke?
Form Player to have for next 3
David Silva (A Everton, H Watford, A Crystal Palace) – ran the game last week against Chelsea.
Under the Radar for next 3
Bafétimbi Gomis (A Sunderland, H Manchester United, A Watford) – not so much under the radar but at £7.1m Gomis is a good value option for a forward.
Clean Sheet Banker
Manchester United – looking like Old Trafford is once again becoming a fortress where I expect Newcastle to hit a blank this week.
Sleno with 57 points seems to have all the right players.
Johnny Walker, he plays his wildcard, forgets to wear his glasses, then he hits ‘confirm’ thus he brings in West Ham’s Poyet instead of Payet . “I wondered why I had cash leftover” – what a legend!
Drop a comment below and let me know whether you found this helpful or not and happy to hear if there’s anything else you’d like to see added that may be of help.
Good luck this week!
