5-a-Side Challenge - Gameweek 4 - Kevo

Aaron kicked off the 5-a-Side Challenge last week with 33 points. Aleks Kolarov (15 points) and Bafetimbi Gomis (6 points) came up trumps, but captain Memphis Depay’s blank proved costly for Aaron.

Kevo is up next, and his team rolls in at £34.1m.

As a reminder, the team must not exceed a budget of £35m, and you can only have one player from the same team. In addition, the team must conform to a 1-1-2-1 formation.

Brad Guzan (4.5)

I don’t think there’ll be too many clean sheets outside the big 4/5 this week however; given the poor start that Sunderland have had, coupled with the tactical genius of Tim Sherwood, I think Aston Villa are as good a bet as anyone.

Aleksandar Kolarov (5.7)

With only 3 games into the season and a goal and 3 clean sheets, Kolarov sits top defender alongside his captain Kompany. A home game against Watford could provide the opportunity for the left sided attacking defender to add to his already impressive 31 points.

Matt Ritchie (5.9)

Last week saw Callum Wilson score a hatrick for the Cherries, this week AFC Bournemouth have a home game against high flying Leicester City. I think it provides the ideal opportunity for his teammate Matt Ritchie to come to the party, one things for sure there’ll be goals with these two attack-minded teams.

Pedro (9.5)

After joining the club only a few days before last weekend’s match, he played 83 minutes in his first game, a goal, assist and 3BP saw Pedro score 13 points. Bivash was right: any established Barcelona player is going to shine in the Premier League. I can name two others, Fabregas and Suarez, and they’re not bad either.

Christian Benteke (8.5) (C)

One goal in his first 3 games isn’t perhaps the stats that Benteke owners would like to read however; I do expect him to add to this tally with a home game against a West Ham side that shipped 4 goals last weekend in a home match to Bournemouth. For this reason he’s my captain too.
