Supporting Alzheimer's Research UK with Tony's National 3 Peaks Challenge

These are the most important words I’ve ever written on here, and it’s a real pleasure to raise awareness of this.

Tony Roberts, a regular on FPL Dugout, is taking on a National 3 Peaks Challenge in June to raise awareness and money for Alzheimer’s Research UK – the UK’s leading dementia research charity.

Tony writes:

On 23rd June 2012 I will be starting my National 3 peaks Challenge. The challenge is to climb and travel between the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours. The 3 peaks are: Ben Nevis, Scotland – 1,344 m (4,409 ft); Scafell Pike, England – 978m (3,209ft); Snowdon, Wales – 1,085m (3,560ft). Not only the climbing, but also the driving, eating and sleeping have to be done in this time too!

This is a truly great cause and a remarkable challenge helping Alzheimer’s Research UK find preventions, treatments and a cure for dementia. Imagine a world free of dementia – the ultimate goal.

Tony would be extremely grateful if you could support him in any way. Thank you.
