Fantasy Premier League 2012/13: The transfer story so far...

This is what all football fans love, the pre-season, the big transfer rumours, will RVP go to City? Will Modric move to United? Who’s the next Spurs boss going to be? (Maybe AVB if you read the media). Clubs it’s time to show the so called ambition that the fans crave and sign that big name player that will take you to the next step.

Yes the transfer mill is in full flow and here at FPL Dugout we will be bringing you all the latest transfer stories right up until the big launch. We are still a little numb at the moment until the official Fantasy Premier League Launch in mid July but we can look over the transfers so far and who will be gracing our elite 15 man squad come August 18th.

So here’s the story so far as regards players in.

So some big moves by the big four are the main talking points with Arsenal at the head of the queue. With Arsene Wenger stating he will use Podolski and Giroud in a 4-3-3 formation along with RVP it will be an interesting pre-season to see how the Gunners will line up.

Chelsea with the highly rated Eden Hazard in their team could spell the end for Fat Frank at the bridge and Shinji Kagawa could improve United’s attacking prowess still further.

At the other end of the table Big Sam has made a few early moves in the transfer market with his old pal Jaaskelainen replacing Rob Green who has gone to QPR. The Mohamed Diame transfer will turn a few heads as the Senegalese midfielder was previously linked with Liverpool.

So as the window gathers pace and fans become ever more impatient, us mere fantasy football managers can merely wait for the big Fantasy Premier League launch where we can do our own wheeling and dealing.

No Harry Redknapp on a transfer window, should never happen!!
