Here we are then, the end of MSA in its first year (well 26 weeks). A roller coaster of predictions, some fun competition and a very fun first year.

Champions League FINAL …
Let me first say what an effort by Tony and Jakob to make it this far, my hat goes off to you both! Jakob came up against a wildcard and couldn’t let a Sleno 150 out of the bag.
Then there was Tony, my tip from day one, as a 4th seed I tipped him to do well, very well, and he truly hasn’t let me down once. The final score with Bossdrum … 161 V 160. Yes it really was just one point, so great effort Tony, so close my friend, but hold your head high you should great effort!
So onto the final, Tony was close, but can you say that Bossdrum doesn’t deserve to be here? Not for a second, week after week I have found him to have the top score and he deserves his place in the final, where he will come up against the peoples favourite of Dudu, who has been on quite the roll himself!
So how do their teams match up you are asking … No RVP in either … Rooney in both, for that matter also Cisse, Jelavic, Bale, Dempsey, and Evans. But then … differences! Pienaar, Ben Arfa, Moses meets Valencia, Siggy and VDV in the midfield. At the back its Cech, Hibbert and Walker meeting Vorm, Kompany and Sagna.
What this all means? Well there are some differences, and transfers to come I’m sure! So its all a little close to call for me! I’m sure that captain choice may be key, and maybe a clever transfer here or there may well do it! So for the last time, may the best man win and be crowned the first FPL Dugout Champions League winner!!!

MSA Prediction Game – Weeks 17 and 18 update – Week 19 (GW 31) open!
Headlines read: Double week
So its been 2 weeks since scores have been updated and this has been time for a few movers and shakers to get their act going!!!
Villa Simon is the stand out mover who jumped from 5th to 2nd. 2 very good weeks for him in which he just missed the Shrek awards meant he overtook his rivals and cut Sleno’s lead to just 7 points!
Scotty B was the other big mover as he jumped a couple of places and is now back into the top 10. Villa Simon, Cooky, Geordie Ash and Shiva all joined Sleno over the 3 figure mark this week and as the end is in sight it is for sure not over and anyone of 5 or 6 could hunt down Sleno … any of 15 or so could make top 10 and Marco might … well who knows … but now that does remind me …
In Marco news he took the chance of the double game week to rise from 25th to 22nd in the league! Not to give anything away, but there is a whole bunch of people right ahead of him and even an average week will see him shoot into the top 20!!!
Shrek of the week: Scotty B and Sleno
Well what do you know … the two Donkeys from GW 16 decided to up their games. Scotty took GW 17 Shrek award with 4/2/6 score, which isn’t too bad remembering the loss of the Bolton/Villa game from the week.
Sleno took GW 18 with a score of 5/3/8 which just edged out Marco on the better S score decider since he had a good week scoring 6/2/8! Congrats to Scotty and Sleno for bouncing back so well and quickly.
Donkey of the week: Stiggers and Shiva
Dudu owes Stiggers a big thank you this week for sure! With his score of 2/0/2 Dudu was odds on for the donkey award until the last minute when Stiggers came in late, only did a few games, got most of them wrong and stole the award with a 1/0/1!
Shiva took GW 18 donkey award with a 3/0/3 week which normally would be good enough to avoid the award but with some so called easy games to predict average scoring was up and therefore Shiva gets lumped with his score!

Headlines read: Donkey to a Hundred!
Well congrats to Sleno!!! Who is the first man into 3 figures and well didn’t he do it in style by also collecting his first ever donkey award and his worse ever score.
Sleno was happy to welcome his good MSA friend Cooky back into 2nd place and well Cooky doesn’t seem to be alone in his chase of Sleno! There for sure is a pack forming and even Donkey boy Mesh is storming up the leaderboard and this game really isn’t over yet! 1 more bad week for Sleno and any number of MSA’ers could catch and even overtake our leader.
But we all hope not.
In Marco news he is up to 25th, and I had a message from James saying he would forget too much so wants to bow out! So Marco back to you and racing alone!
Shrek of the week: Stiggers
He sure had a good week. 6/3/9 is a pretty decent score by anyone’s standards! Mesh and Cooky were close by and made headway in the league but 2nd and 3rd don’t count for much in this game, it’s all about that Shrek award and that goes to the mighty Stiggers! Congrats Sir!
Donkey of the week: Scotty B and Sleno
A long time ago I decided that 4/0/4 was worse than 3/1/4, which means Scotty and Sleno are this weeks donkey! Didn’t see this one coming.

MSA Prediction Game – Week 15 update – Week 16 (GW 28) open!
Important Sleno news:
This is an important Sleno announcement, please read and store the info.
For Gameweeks 28, 29 and 30 Sleno will not be in Chicago, but Essex. That is right I’m going home for my mums birthday, this means I will be around, but different times, so please be patient with updates – they will come and probably quick! But who knows!
Headlines read: Bravo all round!
Well normally when I enter the scores I am used to … no no no, and I thought that was the same this week, but then all the people that predicted late … well they all came through! The best overall week for a long while and this is reflected by the high Shrek scores! A lot of the top league runners however did stumble slightly this week and maybe the pressure at the top is getting too much for some!
In Marco news he got himself a friend this week! SpursJames is going to race with him! This week Marco rose to 26th.
Shrek of the week: Shiva and Dudu!
Well I know some of the top guys had an “average” week – well Shiva sure didn’t! But it wasn’t just him having a stonking week! Dudu also had a great week, with scores of 7/2/9 they both rocked up the league and can be very proud of their efforts this week! Keep up the good work guys! Seems like being a Man Utd fan really helped this week and their bold Utd predictions help each of them on their way to their great scores!
Donkey of the week: Geordie Ash
Ash decided this week to say that he had never been the Donkey or Shrek, and well the law of averages of course kicked in nice and good and planted a big fat Donkey award on his shelf! Enjoy it, you deserve it.

MSA Prediction Game – Week 14 update – Week 15 (GW 27) open!
Headlines read: Dugout rent a farm to house all the donkeys!
The headline says it all, there was a real fight for the Donkey of the Week award! And well no one came out on top and it was shared all around! Sleno gave himself a little breathing space at the top, but the way things go in this game I’m sure that will be cut next week!
In Marco news he jumped from 29th to 27th this week.
Shrek of the week: Sleno
With a score of 5/3/8 Sleno extends his lead at the top, I had a chat with him over the weekend and he was still gutted, he couldn’t decide between 3-0 or 4-0 to City, and chose the wrong one! I’m sure the Shrek award will soften the blow for him, but knowing him pretty well he will most likely remember the City score more than anything!
Donkey of the week: Aaron, Mesh, Mark B, Stiggers and BJW
We are going to have to buy a bigger stable if this keeps up! Not sure what a lot of donkeys is called? Let’s call it a herd! This week we have a Herd of Donkeys! With scores of 3/0/3 they all get a little donkey action, even poor BJW who only predicted for 4 games! So well done to him I guess … shame on the rest of you lot!

MSA Prediction Game – Week 13 update – Week 14 (GW 26) open!
Headlines read: Marco on the long road, while Scotty loses his place in the elite group
That’s right Marco made his first predictions this week, and a very big welcome to the game, now I hope you didn’t think it would be easy! You start right at the bottom, which happens to be 29th place! I challenge you Sir to play every week and see how many people you can overtake, I mean we still have about 1/2 the season to go!
In other news Scotty departed from the 100%’er this week, which was a shame to lose one, hope that it was a one week deal and he will be back predicting again this week!
