We’re almost there folks – the second international break of the season is almost at an end. These international breaks seem a long drawn out bore, but with Gameweek 8 rapidly approaching on the horizon, it’s time for us to preview the upcoming action.
How many times have we seen an international break having a huge impact on the following Gameweek in the Premier League? Gameweek 4 wasn’t an exception either.
Suspected injuries to RVP and Kagawa, along with the existing Rooney injury, meant Sir Alex might have been worried. But RVP and Kagawa made the bench and Wigan were seen off without risking them.
It seems such a long time ago since that hat-trick from RVP against Southampton. England once again failed to deliver 3 points as they stumbled to a 1-1 home draw with Ukraine. The injury merry go round is in full force as RVP and Shinji Kagawa both pick up knocks in their respective matches.
Anyway, back to business of the Premier League and a look at this weekend’s fixtures:
